Arielle Dillonsmith

Arielle Dillonsmith is a Partner in the Real Estate group at Dentons in Toronto, specializing in Real Estate Law. Her practice is primarily transactional, focused on the acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial land, with frequent representation of developers in condominium, office, retail, and mixed‑use projects.

Arielle advises a diverse clientele including builders, lenders, landlords, investors, and project consortiums, drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, opinions, title insurance commitments, easements, and condominium disclosure documents. She has played a key role in several public‑private partnership transactions and complex deals. Notable matters include advising a condominium developer on projects with multiple components including affordable housing and cost‑sharing arrangements; acting for the purchaser of a tenanted commercial office property for CA$91 million; acting on a CA$56 million purchase of a residential apartment building; assisting a banking client with a loan increase to CA$500 million on industrial properties; and advising on a CA$134 million syndicated financing secured by agricultural property.

She holds a J.D. and a B.Sc. with Honours in Chemistry from the University of Western Ontario (2015, 2011). She was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2016.
