Keith Stein

Keith Stein is Counsel at Dentons, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. He also focuses on corporate governance, private equity, and real estate transactions. His practice encompasses a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including M&A, corporate finance, and strategic advisory work.

Keith has extensive experience as both a senior executive and legal counsel. He served as a senior executive with an international auto parts manufacturer for more than 14 years, reporting to the Chairman, and previously served as Senior Corporate Counsel for Toyota Canada and Toyota Credit Canada. He has been a board member of various publicly listed companies and a founding director of three capital pool companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. He has also been involved in founding Simmons Records (with Gene Simmons and Universal Music Canada), the Toronto Phantoms indoor football team, and OATH, an Olympic advocacy organization. He has significant business interests including real estate and a major ownership interest in a Canadian restaurant chain.

He holds an LL.B from York University, Osgoode Hall Law School (1987) and was called to the Bar in 1989.
