Neha Issar

Neha Issar is a Senior Associate in Dentons' Corporate and Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies practice groups, specialising in Technology Law. Her practice focuses on the structuring, negotiation, and commercialization of intellectual property and technology assets, advising startups, scale-ups, and established technology companies on SaaS, AI, data, and cloud transactions, IP licensing, technology development and procurement, and strategic outsourcing and supply chain arrangements.

Neha has advised on significant M&A and venture financing transactions, including acting as company counsel to Rail.io on its US$200 million acquisition to Ripple (the largest Canadian crypto-native transaction), to Hyperlume Inc. on its acquisition to Credo Technology Group, and to EnergyX Solutions Inc. on its acquisition to Apogee Interactive. She also counsels clients on privacy and data governance, commercialization strategies and cross-border transactions involving Canadian and U.S. entities across industries including financial services, life sciences, logistics, agritech, energy and retail.

Neha holds a J.D. with a specialization in Canadian Law from Bond University (2016) and a B.A.H. in History and Political Studies from Queen's University (2012). She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and a Notary Public for the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General.

She is recognised by Chambers Canada as an Associate to Watch in Information Technology (2025).
