Rebecca Nokleby

Rebecca Nokleby is an Associate in Dentons' Trusts, Estates, and Wealth Preservation group, specialising in Estate Planning. She assists clients with estate planning by preparing wills, powers of attorney, personal directives, prenuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements, and helps personal representatives with estate administration, including grant applications and asset distribution.

Rebecca has particular experience in estate litigation, including contested wills involving capacity, undue influence, and family maintenance and support claims, as well as abuse under powers of attorney. She also prepares adult guardianship and trusteeship applications and has appeared before the Alberta Court of King's Bench. She first joined Dentons as a summer student in 2022 and returned as an articling student in 2023.

Rebecca holds a J.D. from the University of Alberta (2023), an M.A. from Carleton University (2019), and a B.A. with First Class Honours from the University of Alberta (2017). She volunteers with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre.
