Wasiu Omotoso

Wasiu Omotoso is a Partner in the Infrastructure and PPP group in Dentons' Toronto office, specialising in Infrastructure Law. He represents domestic and international clients on the development, procurement and financing of infrastructure, energy and construction projects across multiple delivery models, including public-private partnerships, design-build, EPC, construction management, alliance and other collaborative contracting structures.

Wasiu has advised on a wide range of projects, including healthcare facilities (hospitals, long-term care and children's treatment centres), airport terminals, LNG pipelines, nuclear power, renewable energy, data centres, wastewater treatment plants, residential and commercial developments, mining and transit infrastructure projects. Notable matters include advising Porter Aviation Holdings on the development of a new commercial air passenger terminal at Aéroport de Montréal Saint‑Hubert, advising Fortis BC on the Eagle Mountain–Woodfibre Gas Pipeline Project, and advising a bidder on the CA$1.2 billion West Park Healthcare Centre redevelopment PPP. He previously served as in-house counsel at a top ENR construction firm and as a professor at the Angelo Del‑Zotto School of Construction Management.

Wasiu holds an LL.B. from Obafemi Awolowo University (2010) and an LL.M. from the University of Manitoba (2014).
