David Steinberg

David Steinberg is a Partner in the Media, Entertainment and Sports group at Dentons' Toronto office, focusing on entertainment and media law in the film, television and music industries.

He acts for film and television producers, distributors, broadcasters, music publishers, creators and recording artists in both Canada and the United States, advising on film and television financing, production and distribution, as well as the licensing of intellectual property and the sale and acquisition of rights. He is also a frequent speaker and lecturer on media and entertainment law topics.

David holds an LL.B from the University of Western Ontario (1989).

He is recognized by The Legal 500 Canada, Chambers Canada, The Best Lawyers in Canada and Who's Who Legal in the areas of entertainment and media law.
