Helen Park

Helen Park is a Partner and Co-Lead of Dentons' National Immigration group in Vancouver, focusing on business immigration. She advises corporate clients on workforce strategies, including work permits, permanent residence options, provincial nomination programs, and compliance with evolving immigration laws.

She has extensive experience across all categories of work permit applications and is a leading expert on immigration matters in the entertainment and media industry, advising on urgent work permits for foreign workers on film and television productions in Canada. She has assisted visual effects and animation studios in relocating hundreds of specialized digital media artists for feature film work, and advised on the relocation of specialized workers for shipbuilding, engineering, mining and manufacturing projects across Canada. She also assists Canadian businesses in obtaining temporary resident permits and rehabilitation status for inadmissible employees, and has supported foreign workers in their permanent residence applications through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program.

Helen holds an LL.B from the University of Alberta (2002), an M.A. from Yonsei University's Graduate School of International Studies in Seoul (1997), and a B.A. from McGill University (1995). She was called to the bar in both British Columbia and Alberta.

She has served as Chair of the CBABC Immigration Subsection (2019–2021) and as a member of the National CBA Immigration Section executive. She is recognised by Chambers Global, Chambers Canada, The Legal 500 Canada, The Best Lawyers in Canada and Who's Who Legal for immigration law.
