Larysa Workewych

Larysa Workewych is a Senior Associate in the Employment, Labour & Pensions practice at Dentons in Toronto, specializing in Employment Law. She advises provincially and federally regulated employers on all areas of labour and employment, including employment contracts and policies, terminations, wrongful dismissals, labour relations, collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations, human rights and workplace accommodations, and employment standards.

Larysa has advocated for clients in employment‑related proceedings including employment standards complaints, wrongful dismissal claims, human rights applications, unjust dismissal claims, civil litigation, grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, and applications before the Ontario Labour Relations Board. She has also supported employers in labour strikes, injunctions, and occupational health and safety matters. Notable matters include successfully representing an employer in defending against a human rights claim before the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal; serving as Canadian legal counsel on a US$250 million strategic investment; and leading collective bargaining teams in the negotiation of first and renewal collective agreements. She also advises on mergers and acquisitions, including advising Motorola Solutions, Inc. on its acquisitions of Rave Mobile Safety and Futurecom Systems Group.

Larysa holds a J.D. from Queen's University (2018), where she was a Dean's Bronze Scholar and received multiple academic prizes, and a B.A. (Hons) with High Distinction from the University of Toronto (2015). She was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2019.
