Nolan J. Menard

Nolan J. Menard is an Associate in Dentons' Tax group, based in the Edmonton office, practicing in Tax Advisory Law. His practice includes corporate and personal tax planning, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and tax litigation and dispute resolution.

Mr. Menard joined Dentons as a summer student in 2021, returned as an articling student in 2023, and holds a J.D. from the University of Alberta (2023) and a BCom with distinction from the University of Alberta (2020). He has assisted with corporate reorganizations, disputes before the Tax Court of Canada, and shareholder share sale transactions. He received the Cruickshank Karvellas Prize in Taxation (2022) and the Faculty of Law Indigenous Students Award (2022).

He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Tax Foundation, and the Canadian Bar Association.
