Taylor Holland

Taylor Holland is a Senior Associate in the Employment and Labour group at Dentons, based in Edmonton. Her practice focuses on Employment Law.

Taylor provides strategic advice to employers in both unionized and non-unionized settings with respect to all facets of labour and employment law. She has experience with wrongful dismissal actions, grievance arbitrations, unfair labour practice complaints, fiduciary and restrictive covenant disputes, determination applications, human rights complaints, employment standards complaints and appeals, Canada Labour Code complaints, defamation actions and privacy complaints. She also assists employers with the preparation and drafting of workplace policies, procedures and agreements.

In addition, Taylor is a member of Dentons' Workplace Investigations Group. She provides services as an external investigator and has particular experience investigating complaints of workplace bullying, harassment and discrimination. She also advises employers navigating their own internal investigations, or seeking advice with respect to required disciplinary or other measures following the completion of internal or external investigations.

Taylor has advocated on behalf of clients before the Alberta Court of Justice, Court of King's Bench of Alberta, Alberta Court of Appeal and various other forums, including arbitration hearings and the Alberta Labour Relations Board.

She holds a JD from the University of Alberta (2017) and a BA (Hons with First Class Distinction) from the University of Calgary (2014). She is a member of the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers and the Canadian Bar Association, and volunteers with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre.
