Wendy N. Moody, KC

Wendy N. Moody, KC, is a Partner in the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution team, based in the Edmonton office, practicing in Insurance Law. She handles complex civil litigation and professional liability matters, including claims involving catastrophic motor vehicle accident and property losses, product liability, occupiers' liability, life and disability matters, and coverage claims under commercial liability, motor vehicle, and homeowners policies, as well as subrogation and commercial disputes.

Ms. Moody has appeared before the Court of Appeal, Court of King's Bench, and Provincial Court of Alberta, and has effectively resolved many cases through private mediation. She is a member of the International Association of Defence Counsel and the Property & Casualty panel of the Insurance Bureau of Canada.

Wendy holds an LL.B. from the University of Alberta (1997), a B.A. Honours and a BComm from Carleton University (1991, 1992). She has been recognized by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory in Personal Injury and Litigation - Commercial Insurance, by The Legal 500 Canada in Dispute Resolution, and by The Best Lawyers in Canada in Insurance Law.
