Alexander Little

Alexander Little is a Senior Associate in the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, based in the Montréal office, specializing in Construction Law. His practice focuses primarily on construction law and general commercial litigation, with experience in complex, high-value disputes before courts and arbitral tribunals. He advises and represents public and private owners, general and specialized contractors, and suppliers in matters involving all facets of the construction industry, including contract performance, delays and deficiencies, tendering issues, and claims arising in the context of public-private partnerships.

Mr. Little has represented the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in multiple complex cases involving IATA being seized as a garnishee for amounts held on behalf of airlines and other IATA participants globally, encompassing intricate matters of Private International Law and Public International Law, including issues of state immunity. This matter was named one of Lexpert's Top 10 Business Decisions of 2024/2025. He also advised IATA in a precedent-setting case involving the seizure of assets of a state-owned company before judgment, named one of Lexpert's Top 10 Business Decisions of 2021/2022.

Alexander holds an LL.L. cum laude from the University of Ottawa (2019) and a B.A. in History from Concordia University (2015). He was named to the Dean's Honours list and completed a clerkship with the Honourable Justice Pierre Dallaire of the Superior Court of Québec.
