Alexandra Fox

Alexandra Fox is a Partner in Dentons' Banking and Finance group, based in Calgary. She brings over a decade of experience advising financial institutions, private lenders and borrowers on a broad range of domestic and multi-jurisdictional lending transactions. Her practice focuses on Banking and Finance Law.

Alexandra's practice focuses on commercial bilateral and syndicated lending transactions, acting for clients across a diverse array of industries including agriculture, automotive and transportation, pharmaceutical, real estate, entertainment and film, fintech, (re)insurance and insurtech. Her broad industry exposure allows her to provide clients with practical and sophisticated legal and strategic advice tailored to the unique demands of each sector.

Alexandra has been recognised in her field, including by Chambers Canada as an "Associate to Watch" in Fintech Legal (2025 and 2026). Prior to joining Dentons, Alexandra gained valuable international experience practising law in Bermuda. She has also served as a board member of the Risk Management Association, demonstrating her commitment to the broader financial and legal community.

She is known for being both a trusted legal advisor and a strategic partner to her clients, combining deep technical expertise with a practical, business-oriented approach to help clients navigate complex financial transactions across borders and industries. She holds a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall at York University and a Juris Doctor (with Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan.
