Aljosa Zenicanin

Aljosa Zenicanin is a Senior Associate at Dentons, practicing in the Construction and Infrastructure and PPP groups, specializing in Infrastructure Law. He focuses on drafting, negotiating, and advising on design and construction contracts across the full project lifecycle, including standard form agreements (CCDC and CCA), EPC contracts, and a wide range of supply and service agreements.

Aljosa counsels owners, developers, contractors, and design professionals on procurement strategies, risk allocation, project delivery models, contract administration, and claims mitigation. Notable matters include advising Public Services and Procurement Canada on the Alexandra Bridge Replacement Project; advising Transport Canada on the High Frequency Rail project; advising a prequalified consortium on the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension tunnel works; advising on the CA$13.5 billion GO Transit Expansion project; advising a reactor vendor on an EPC contract for a small modular nuclear reactor in Ontario; and advising a renewable energy developer on a 20‑MW wind farm project. He also has extensive experience advising lenders on construction credit facilities, including a CA$142 million facility in Vaughan and a CA$135 million facility in downtown Toronto.

Aljosa holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa (2016), a B.A. in History and Legal Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University (2013), and a Certificate in Construction Law from Osgoode Hall. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2017 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
