Chris Franssen

Chris Franssen is an Associate and a member of Dentons' Real Estate group in Calgary. His practice focuses on Real Estate Law, encompassing commercial real estate transactions, building and development initiatives, and commercial leasing.

Prior to joining Dentons, he gained broad career experience as an Audit and Corporate Legal Officer at the Auditor General of Alberta and most recently as a Senior Associate in the Edmonton office of a Western Canadian law firm.

Chris was also previously the Executive Director for the Melbourne Space Program and assisted in the advancement of the largest space program in Australia. Prior to this, he had a career in the Calgary oil and gas sector, supporting large oilsands producers as a strategic business analyst.

He earned his JD from the University of Melbourne and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.
