Jake Katz

Jake Katz is an Associate in the Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy group in Dentons' Edmonton office. His practice focuses on Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law.

Jake advises on a broad range of matters including corporate insolvency, corporate restructuring, residential foreclosures and corporate/commercial litigation. He regularly appears before the Court of King's Bench of Alberta and is committed to delivering practical, strategic solutions to complex legal challenges.

Jake holds a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours from Brunel University of London (2023) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta (2020). While at Brunel, he received the International Corporate Rescue Award for Excellence in recognition of his legal research and writing skills for his LLB dissertation in Corporate Law. His international legal education adds a unique and valuable perspective to his practice.

He joined Dentons as an articling student in 2024.
