Tom Gusa

Tom Gusa is a Partner and the leader of the Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy group in Edmonton, focusing on Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law. He has represented and advised clients in a wide range of matters relating to corporate debt restructuring, receiverships, CCAA proceedings, and security enforcement.

Tom also assists corporate and commercial clients with a variety of banking issues and business disputes.

He has been a Sessional Professor at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Law, teaching Judgment Enforcement, and has appeared as a guest lecturer on topics relating to bankruptcy and insolvency law.

He is recognised in The Best Lawyers in Canada for Insolvency and Financial Restructuring Law and in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for Insolvency & Financial Restructuring. Tom holds an LLB from the University of Windsor (2010) and a BComm (Honors) in Business Law and Economics from the University of Alberta (2007).
