Jana Mansour

Jana Mansour is a Partner and national co-chair of Dentons Canada's Infrastructure and PPP group, specialising in Infrastructure Law. He advises owners, developers and contractors from early-stage consideration through procurement, financing, construction, operation and disposition of large-scale infrastructure, power and energy projects across Canada and internationally.

Jana has worked on a diverse range of assets, including port, transportation and water infrastructure, hospitals, schools, wind and solar farms, gas-fired power plants, pipelines, biofuel facilities, mines, rolling stock, aircraft, petrochemical facilities, LNG terminals and nuclear power plants. Notable engagements include advising the JGC Fluor BC LNG Joint Venture on the multi-billion dollar LNG Canada export terminal in Kitimat, advising Acciona on litigation regarding the termination of a design-build-finance contract for the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant, and advising Livent on the expansion of its lithium extraction operations in Argentina and the United States. He also advised the Government of Canada on the Alexandra Bridge Replacement Project and has extensive experience in rail and aircraft lease financing transactions.

Jana holds an LL.M. from Columbia University School of Law (1999), where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and an LL.B. from the University of Montréal (1995). He began his legal career in Montréal before practising project development and financing law in New York City for 17 years, and joined Dentons' Vancouver office in 2018.
