Jenaye Lewis

Jenaye Lewis is a Senior Associate in the Corporate and Real Estate groups in Dentons' Edmonton office. Her practice focuses on Real Estate Law, with a particular emphasis on financing and commercial real estate.

Her practice incorporates a range of general corporate/commercial matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, planning and development, condominium and strata developments, and commercial leasing. Jenaye also assists clients with ownership matters, including partnership, joint venture, shareholder and co-ownership agreements.

She has represented both borrowers and lenders (private and institutional) in financing transactions, with particular strength in real estate-based lending.

In addition to her work as a trusted advisor and deal-facilitator, Jenaye has assisted a wide variety of clients—including condominium boards, non-profits, rural electrification associations, municipalities and school boards—with financing and real estate-based matters, as well as in resolving complex corporate/commercial legal issues.

She holds a JD and a BA (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta. She was a 2024 finalist for the Outstanding Young Leaders in Canadian Real Estate Award presented by Informa Connect & Chicago Title Insurance Company, and is a Board Member of Commercial Real Estate Women (Edmonton) and a member of NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Edmonton Bar Association and the Law Society of Alberta.
