Nathalie Duceppe

Nathalie Duceppe is Notary Counsel in the Real Estate group of Dentons' Montréal office, specialising in Real Estate Law. Her practice focuses on commercial real estate and mining transactions, with deep expertise in negotiating, reviewing and drafting documents in connection with real estate and commercial transactions, as well as in the mining sector.

Nathalie regularly assists clients with royalty purchase agreements, deeds of sale and hypothec, servitudes, superficies agreements, declarations of divided co-ownership, notice of lease and applications for the opening of land files. She also assists in revising title opinions, researching title problems and implementing solutions to support clients in managing and growing their real estate portfolios. She has represented a multinational raw materials company on the sale of its Canadian salt assets to a global industrial holding company for US$1.47 billion, and has advised on financing transactions secured by CA$550 million in immovable hypothecs on mining rights.

Nathalie holds a Notarial Law Diploma (1990) and a Bachelor of Law (1989) from the Université de Montréal. She is a member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec and the Canadian Bar Association, and serves as President of the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Law Section of the CBA (Québec Division).
