Scott H. Wilson

Scott H. Wilson is the Office Managing Partner of Dentons Canada's Vancouver office and a member of the Firm's National Management Committee, specializing in Real Estate Law. He practices in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financings, dispositions, leasing, marketing, project sales, and real estate development, as well as major corporate commercial transactions, reorganizations, and energy and infrastructure projects.

Scott represents esteemed real estate developers, pension funds, institutional and private lenders, and clients on complex, high‑value transactions. Notable matters include advising on a CA$210 million syndicated project financing for the Narrows Inlet Hydro Project; advising on the acquisition of the TELUS Garden office and retail complex in downtown Vancouver; acting for the purchaser of a commercial high‑rise office building in Vancouver's financial district; and advising on a CA$1.1 billion acquisition by Atlantic Power Corporation. He also advised on the lease of a 110,000 square‑foot office to Netflix Animation Studios and acted as counsel to the private consortium for the new Royal Jubilee Hospital Patient Care Centre.

Scott holds a J.D. and a B.H.K. from the University of British Columbia (2007, 2002). He was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2008.

He has been consistently recognised in The Legal 500 Canada (Real Estate), Best Lawyers in Canada (Real Estate Law), and Chambers Canada (Real Estate, British Columbia). He was also named to Business in Vancouver's BC500 list of the most influential business leaders in British Columbia (2025).
