Shauna Towriss

Shauna Towriss is a Partner in the Real Estate group at Dentons in Vancouver, specializing in Real Estate Law. She advises on commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and financing across office, retail, industrial, residential, and mixed‑use asset classes, acting for vendors, purchasers, developers, lenders, borrowers, landlords, and tenants.

Shauna has significant experience in structuring co‑ownership and joint venture arrangements, limited partnerships, unit trusts, syndicated mortgage structures, and mortgage investment corporations. She provides strategic counsel on letters of intent, purchase agreements, development agreements, easements, covenants, statutory rights of way, land assemblies, municipal approvals, subdivisions, and rezoning. She also acts on syndicated partnerships, mortgage structures, and real estate investment trusts.

She holds an LL.B from the University of British Columbia (2005) and a B.A. from Simon Fraser University (2001). She was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2006.
