Thomas Doré

Thomas Doré is an Associate in the Tax group, based in the Montréal office, practicing in Tax Advisory Law. He advises businesses and individuals on a broad range of provincial, federal, and international matters related to taxation and tax compliance, and elaborates and implements tax and estate planning strategies as well as advising on corporate reorganizations and financings, often involving international and cross-border aspects. He also assists and represents clients in tax controversy cases and tax disputes before the tax authorities and the courts of Québec and Canada.

Mr. Doré has advised Investissement Québec on the completion of the CA$2.54 billion financing of Telesat LEO and the founding shareholders of Enovum Data Centers on the sale of the company to Bit Digital for approximately CA$62.8 million. He was called to the Bar of Québec in 2025 and holds an LLB from the University of Montréal (2023), and is currently completing an LLM in taxation at HEC Montréal.

He is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Association de planification fiscale et financière, and the Young Bar of Montréal.
