Ameen Tejani

Ameen Tejani is a Partner and leader of the Corporate, Banking and Finance and Real Estate groups in Dentons' Edmonton office, specialising in Corporate Law. He advises both lenders and borrowers in financial transactions critical to achieving strategic goals, and handles acquisitions and dispositions of businesses, corporate reorganisations and restructuring, as well as commercial real estate transactions.

Ameen has advised on significant transactions, including acting for Fire & Flower Holdings Corp. in connection with a CA$28 million brokered offering of secured convertible debentures and subscription receipts, advising Alberta Investment Management Corporation on a CA$30 million private placement for Pine Cliff Energy Ltd., and acting for 70 companies as borrowers in a CA$2.5 billion syndicated financing. He has also advised a national real estate holding and development company on its IPO, and the shareholders of a North American environmental engineering company on the sale of their equity interest to a large private equity firm.

Ameen holds an LL.B. and a B.Ed./B.Sc. from the University of Alberta (2007, 2002).
