Anil Nair

Anil Nair is an Associate in Dentons' Employment & Labour group, specialising in Employment Law. He practises health and safety law, defending large global entities and smaller local companies against charges under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), and is developing a broader labour, employment and human rights practice.

Anil works closely with clients' senior leadership to ensure the highest standards of safety are met. He has spoken at safety conferences, published articles on recent safety developments and case law updates, and is the only lawyer recognised with the COS Young Achiever Award by Canadian Occupational Safety magazine for advancing workplace safety and innovative safety initiatives.

Anil holds an LL.B. (Honours) from the University of Birmingham (2020), a Global Professional Master of Laws (GPLLM) from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law (2021), and a Certificate in Provincial Offences Court Practice from Osgoode Hall Law School (2025). He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Law Society of Alberta.
