Erik A. Grobler

Erik A. Grobler is a Senior Associate in the Construction, Infrastructure and PPP, and Litigation and Dispute Resolution groups in Dentons' Vancouver office, specialising in Dispute Resolution. He maintains a construction disputes practice focused on representing and advising clients involved in the construction of infrastructure, industrial and commercial projects.

Erik has represented clients across a broad range of industries, including construction defect litigation, general civil litigation, commercial litigation and insurance litigation. He has specific experience with various types of construction disputes, construction contracts, negligent design, delay and builders liens. He has appeared as counsel at all levels of court in British Columbia, including Provincial Court and BC Supreme Court, and has also represented clients before the Civil Resolution Tribunal and Residential Tenancy Board.

Erik completed his B.A. and LL.B. degrees at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, where he received the Phatshoane Henney Honour Medal for exceptional overall LLB academic results and was named to the Dean's List. He also captained the provincial Underwater Hockey team and was a member of the South African national team at the Underwater Hockey World Championships.
