Jennifer D.S. Dezell

Jennifer D.S. Dezell is a Partner in the Banking and Finance and Corporate/Commercial groups in Dentons' Vancouver office, specialising in Banking and Finance Law. Her practice encompasses corporate and commercial lending, including syndicated transactions, asset-based lending, cross-border transactions, receivables financing, real estate financing, acquisition financing, project financing and SR&ED financing for domestic banks and foreign financial institutions.

Jennifer has advised on numerous high-value and complex financings. She advised Bank of Montreal as arranger on a CA$350 million loan facility to a joint venture formed between Premium Brands Holdings Corporation and a consortium of Mi'kmaq First Nations for the acquisition of Clearwater Seafoods Incorporated, valued at approximately CA$1 billion. She also advised JPMorgan Chase Bank as administrative agent on a US$8 billion revolving credit facility for Lionsgate Entertainment Corporation, and acted as Canadian counsel to LKQ Corporation on the amendment of its US$1.8 billion senior secured credit facility and its US$600 million bond issuance. Her experience also includes advising on the US$300 million syndicated refinancing for Entertainment One Ltd. and project financing for the Royal Jubilee Hospital Patient Care Centre in Victoria.

Jennifer holds an LL.B. (2002) and a B.A. (1989) from the University of British Columbia.
