Tim T. Bezeredi

Tim T. Bezeredi is a Partner and Manager of the Banking and Finance practice group at Dentons Canada, based in the Vancouver office. He practices in Banking and Finance Law and Corporate/Commercial law, representing a broad range of clients in senior, subordinated/mezzanine, ABL, LBO and syndicated financings, lease financing, private M&A, corporate restructurings, and private equity transactions across sectors including manufacturing, technology, forestry, and mining.

Mr. Bezeredi has led numerous complex transactions, including advising Beedie Investments Ltd. on its acquisition of the majority of shares of Think Research Corporation, advising Vistara Technology Growth Fund on $30 million in equity and debt fundraising for Reach, advising Conuma Coal Resources on its US$35 million acquisition of assets from Walter Energy Canada (a Cross Border Turnaround of the Year award-winning transaction), and acting as counsel to the agent syndicate on Imperial Metals Corporation's $200 million senior secured revolving credit facility. He has also advised Herschend Family Entertainment on its acquisition of the Vancouver Aquarium, Cerrado Gold Inc. on a US$20 million secured note and stream agreement, and led major CCAA restructurings for clients including GuestLogix Inc. and a CA$200 million mixed-use development project.

Tim holds an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia (1986), where he received the Canada Law Book Prize as second in his graduating class, and a B.Sc. in Forestry from UBC (1983), receiving the H.R. MacMillan Prize as head of his graduating class.

He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada in Natural Resources Law and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory in Forestry Law, and holds a Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished BV Peer Review Rating.
