Julia Dales

Julia Dales is a Senior Associate in Dentons' Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, specialising in Employment Law. Her practice focuses on all aspects of the employment relationship, including terminations, occupational health and safety, accessibility, pay equity and human rights.

Julia advises clients on compliance with respect to the collection, use and protection of personal information, both within the workplace and otherwise. She drafts employment agreements, termination packages, commission plans, employer policies and accessibility policies, and has acted as an independent investigator in large‑scale workplace harassment and discrimination investigations. As a commercial litigator, she provides strategic counsel in business disputes across all levels of the Ontario court system and in various ADR forums.

Julia holds a J.D., magna cum laude, and a B.A. in History (Hons), summa cum laude, from the University of Ottawa. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Canada (CIPP/C).
