Oliver Nam

Oliver Nam is an Associate in Dentons' Tax group in the Toronto office, with a practice encompassing corporate tax advisory, tax planning, business structuring, and tax dispute resolution.

He joined Dentons as a summer student in 2022 and articled with the firm in 2024–2025. During law school, he served as co-president of several student organizations, including the Asian Law Students Association, and volunteered with legal clinics such as the Korean Legal Clinic. He also competed in national moots and received recognition for written advocacy.

Oliver holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School (2024), a Paralegal Diploma from Seneca Polytechnic (2020), and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of Toronto (2017).

He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association. He received the Martin J. Rochwerg Prize in Tax, Estates and Trusts Law and the Dean's Gold Key Award at Osgoode Hall Law School.
