Ruben Sekhon

Ruben Sekhon is a Partner in Dentons' Real Estate group in Calgary, advising on a broad range of commercial real estate and corporate law matters, including leasing, financing, development, acquisitions, dispositions, and condominiums.

Her leasing experience spans office, industrial, land and retail leases. Notable matters include advising a Crown Corporation on land development and leasing matters throughout Alberta, advising Parkland Corporation on the acquisition of 163 Husky and Esso retail locations across Canada, acting as Canadian counsel to KPS Capital Partners on its affiliates agreement to acquire Oldcastle Building Envelope Inc. for about $3.45 billion, and advising Howden on its acquisition of Compressor Products International. She also advises on asset and share purchase and sale transactions, corporate reorganizations, and commercial contracts.

Ruben holds an MBA from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management (2010), an LL.B from the University of Victoria (2007), and a B.Comm from the University of Calgary - Haskayne School of Business (2004).
