Lyle B. Zulak

Lyle B. Zulak is a Partner in the Real Estate group in Dentons' Calgary office and a member of the Dentons Canada Region Board. He advises a wide range of clients on all aspects of commercial real estate, with particular emphasis on joint venture structuring, development, acquisitions, divestitures and financing.

He has a reputation for facilitating complicated transactions and finding practical solutions to complex issues. He acts for lenders and borrowers in all phases of acquisition, development and construction loans, and guides clients on partnership, joint venture and co-ownership agreements. He has particular expertise in the rail, hotel and leisure, and senior assisted living sectors, with extensive experience in negotiating management, acquisition, joint venture, financing and development agreements for hotels, resorts, restaurants and golf courses. Notable matters include advising on the sale of ownership interests in solar projects, acting for a developer and operator of senior's supportive living facilities, and advising on a CA$125 million seniors housing portfolio sale and leaseback to a publicly traded REIT.

Lyle holds an LL.B from Manchester University (2005) and a B.A. from the University of Laurentian (2001).
