Clark Kassian

Clark Kassian is a Partner and the National Practice Group Leader for Dentons' Real Estate group in Calgary, advising on complex commercial real estate transactions across Canada including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, development, leasing and asset management. He also advises investors, developers and lenders on real estate issues relating to infrastructure projects, including wind and solar projects.

He represents a diverse group of clients including major Canadian pension and investment funds, international investors, prominent retailers, developers, non-profits and leading energy companies. Notable matters include advising a major South Korean asset manager on a $494 million joint venture acquisition of a majority interest in a 2.8 million square foot fulfillment centre; advising a global investment bank on a US$2.1 billion issuance in net lease mortgage notes; advising Dow Inc. on the US$315 million sale of rail infrastructure assets; and advising a major North American energy delivery company on the CA$200 million sale of a major merchant transmission line.

Clark holds an LL.B from the University of Calgary (2011) and a B.A. from the University of Alberta (2007).
