Amer Pasalic

Amer Pasalic is a Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group in Dentons' Toronto office, specialising in Dispute Resolution. He has a broad commercial and civil litigation practice, with particular expertise in cases involving product liability, occupiers' liability, insurance defence, contractual disputes, fraud, professional negligence, lease disputes and real estate litigation.

Amer has appeared at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, the Small Claims Court, the Landlord and Tenant Board, and in private arbitration tribunals. He successfully represented BMW Canada on a five-week trial in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, which was disposed of in BMW's favour in 2025, and acts as Canadian Preferred Counsel and Product Liability Counsel for Otis Elevator Company. He also acts as lead litigation counsel for BMW Canada in the prosecution of illegal export matters and enforcement of non-export covenants for BMW's luxury line of vehicles.

Amer holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School (2012), where he graduated in the top 5% of his class, and a B.A. (Honours) from the University of Windsor (2009). He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
