Talal Murtaza

Talal Murtaza is an Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group in Dentons' Toronto office, specialising in Dispute Resolution. He has a broad litigation practice with a focus on commercial, construction, and insurance disputes.

Talal has represented corporations, insurers, and public entities in matters involving construction, energy, insurance, indigenous and occupiers' liability disputes. He has appeared at all levels of courts in Alberta, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Before joining Dentons, he practiced at the Calgary office of an international law firm and has taught a Civil Practice and Procedure course at the University of Calgary.

Talal holds a J.D. from Dalhousie University (2022) and a B.Sc. from the University of Victoria (2018).
