Chelsea A. Wilson

Chelsea A. Wilson is a Partner at Dentons, practicing in the Construction, Infrastructure and PPP and Litigation and Dispute Resolution groups, specializing in Dispute Resolution. She provides strategic advice during all stages of procurement and construction, advising developers and contractors on negligence claims, delay, builders' liens, design and workmanship defects, enforcement of restrictive covenants, and residential and commercial real estate development.

Chelsea has significant courtroom experience, appearing as counsel in the British Columbia Supreme Court and Provincial Court, the Alberta Court of Appeal, Court of King's Bench, and Provincial Court. She was seconded to a major energy company in Calgary, assisting with the Alberta Energy Board regulatory process during a pipeline expansion project. Notable matters include serving as lead counsel in a builders' lien dispute valued at over CA$25 million, defending a delay claim on a high‑end real estate project during COVID, representing the City of Richmond in litigation concerning sinkholes during construction, and acting as co‑counsel in a nine‑figure (over CA$100 million) claim alleging fraud and misrepresentation. She also advises on international ad hoc arbitrations, Mareva injunctions, Anton Piller orders, and alternative dispute resolution.

Chelsea holds a J.D., with distinction, from the University of Saskatchewan (2013) and a B.A., with distinction, from the same institution (2008). She is admitted to practice in British Columbia (2016), Alberta (2014), and Yukon (2022).
