D. Richard Skeith

D. Richard Skeith is a Counsel in the firm's Corporate group, practicing in all aspects of securities and corporate finance, advising public companies and underwriters as well as private companies on their commercial and corporate needs.

For nearly four decades, he has advised clients across a wide range of industries, including oil and gas services, oil and gas exploration and production, mineral exploration and development, real estate, telecommunications, agribusiness, pharmaceuticals and medical research. He has also served as an officer and board member of many public and private companies, bringing extensive experience in corporate and securities governance to his practice.

Rick holds an LL.B (1978) and a B.A. (1975) from the University of Alberta.

He is recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada for Energy Law, Securities Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Law. He is active in the family farm and has experience advising agribusiness clients from producers to equipment and input manufacturers and distributors.
