Eli Berman

Eli Berman is an Associate in the Corporate group in Dentons' Toronto office. His practice focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions, with a broad corporate and commercial law practice covering securities and corporate finance.

Eli articled with the firm in 2023–2024. Prior to joining Dentons, he was a summer law student at a provincial regulator.

His experience includes advising Vector Science and Therapeutics Inc. in connection with its reverse takeover of OpenSesame Acquisition Corp. and concurrent subscription receipt offering, culminating in its listing on the TSX Venture Exchange; acting as Canadian counsel to Hammond Power Solutions Inc. in connection with its CAD$65,500,000 bought-deal secondary offering; acting for Raymond James Ltd. as sole underwriter in connection with several bought-deal offerings of West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd., including an offering of 37,526,800 common shares and 3,760,000 charity-flow through shares for aggregate gross proceeds of CAD$40,651,260, an offering of 23,628,000 charity flow-through units for aggregate gross proceeds of CAD$20,053,083.50, and an offering of 41,666,800 units for gross proceeds of CAD$28,750,092; advising professional sports leagues on governance-related mandates; and acting as Canadian legal counsel to The Westaim Corporation in connection with the US$250 million strategic investment by Wembley Group Partners, LP.

He holds a JD from Western University (2023) and a BA (Honours) from Queen's University (2018).
