Emily Yeow

Emily Yeow is an Associate in the Corporate group in Dentons' Calgary office, practicing corporate and securities law with a focus on private capital transactions, fund formation and governance, real estate acquisitions and divestitures, and complex commercial arrangements. She acts for asset managers, private equity funds, REITs, portfolio companies, and institutional and private investors across Canada and internationally.

She brings unique in-house experience from her role as Legal Counsel and Director of Legal Services at a Canadian asset management and private equity firm, where she oversaw securities law compliance, investor relations, capital-raising documentation and fund governance. Her transactional practice is complemented by her background in risk management and regulatory compliance, including significant early-career experience in the life sciences sector negotiating international research agreements for clinical trials across more than 15 jurisdictions.

Emily holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh (2015) and an LL.M. in International Banking Law and Finance from the University of Edinburgh (2016).
