Everett Putz

Everett Putz is an Associate in the Corporate, Securities and Mergers and Acquisitions groups at Dentons in Calgary. His practice focuses on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate reorganizations, and corporate governance matters.

He holds a JD from the University of Alberta (2023), where he was an executive member of the Law and Business Association, and a B.Comm in Finance from the University of Saskatchewan, Edwards School of Business (2020). Prior to joining Dentons, he acquired practical experience across finance and legal functions at multiple Canadian midstream companies, most recently focusing on regulatory and Indigenous law matters.

He has advised on the CA$43 million sale of Divine Hardwood Flooring Ltd.; acted for TAG Oil Ltd. on its $11.5 million brokered offering; advised Solfium Inc. on its US$10 million Series A financing; advised Vermilion Energy on its CA$1.075 billion acquisition of Westbrick Energy Ltd.; and advised on CA$5 million and CA$10 million offerings for Zedcor Inc.
