Ivana Cescutti

Ivana Cescutti is a Knowledge and Legal Operations Lawyer, M&A for the Canada Region at Dentons, supporting the firm's Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) practice groups. Her work sits at the intersection of law, data and technology, focusing on knowledge management, legal technology and AI, training, thought leadership and process optimization.

She plays a leading role in advancing the use of artificial intelligence, particularly generative AI, within the M&A context, developing frameworks for responsible AI adoption, embedding AI into legal workflows and translating emerging technologies into practical legal solutions for lawyers and clients. Prior to joining Dentons, she practiced corporate law and M&A at another leading Canadian law firm and served as senior legal counsel in industry, advising on domestic and cross-border transactions, corporate governance, employment, intellectual property and regulatory matters.

Ivana holds a B.C.L./LL.B. and a Minor in Psychology from McGill University (2013).

She regularly writes and speaks on the evolving role of AI in law and legal service delivery, and is a member of the Québec Bar and the Young Bar of Montréal.
