Jesslyn Chong

Jesslyn Chong is a Senior Associate in the Corporate group in Dentons' Vancouver office, maintaining a general corporate and commercial practice that includes public and private M&A, commercial agreements, corporate reorganizations and corporate governance.

She has acted for domestic and multinational companies across various industries, including mining, natural resources, Indigenous economic development and food and beverage. Notable matters include advising Wheaton Precious Metals on its US$530 million acquisition of metal streams from Orion Mine Finance, Glencore Canada Corporation on its CA$53 million acquisition of Noranda Income Fund, B2Gold Corp on its US$90 million sale of a royalty portfolio to Versamet Royalties, and Silvercorp Metals Inc. on its acquisition of Adventus Mining Corporation. She also represented Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited on the admission of its common shares to trading on the London Stock Exchange.

Jesslyn holds a J.D. from the University of British Columbia, Allard School of Law (2018) and a BBA from Simon Fraser University (2015).
