Matthew Desrosiers

Matthew Desrosiers is a Senior Associate in Dentons' Real Estate, Project Development, and Banking and Finance groups in Ottawa, focusing on commercial real estate and infrastructure transactions.

He advises on acquisitions and dispositions, leasing and project financing, representing purchasers and vendors of development lands and commercial and industrial projects. Notable matters include advising Avenue 31 Capital Inc. on the proposed multi-phase industrial development of the National Capital Business Park with over 1.27 million square feet of development potential; advising Bank of Montreal on a CA$50 million operating credit facility to Ontario Aboriginal Housing Support Services Corporation; advising Royal Bank of Canada and Caisse Desjardins on a CA$247.65 million construction facility for the "Albert + Lyon" residential towers in downtown Ottawa; and advising CanFirst Industrial Realty Fund VII on its CA$49 million acquisition of a 143,975 sq. ft. property in Mississauga. He also acts for major financial institutions and borrowers in structuring and negotiating loan documentation and security.

Matthew holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa (2018) and a B.Com (Hons) in Finance from Carleton University (2013).
