Miranda Neal

Miranda Neal is a Senior Associate in the Corporate group at Dentons in Toronto, focusing on transaction-based matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, securities, corporate finance, and general corporate and commercial matters.

She has advised clients on a wide range of transactions, including the acquisition of a 1,858MW portfolio of natural gas-fired power plants in Ontario for approximately CA$2.8 billion, the negotiation of co-investment arrangements for the collective acquisition of AusNet Services Ltd. for an aggregate purchase price of approximately A$10.2 billion, and advising Parkland Corporation on the acquisition of 163 Husky and Esso retail locations across Canada. Prior to joining Dentons, she worked at the Competition Bureau of Canada, where her work focused on mergers and monopolistic practices.

Miranda holds a Juris Doctor from the University of New Brunswick (2020) and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University (2017). She joined Dentons as a summer student in 2019 and articled with the firm in 2020–2021.
