Rocky Swanson

Rocky Swanson is a Senior Associate in Dentons' Toronto office, practicing in the firm's Corporate, Securities, and Mergers and Acquisitions groups. He advises clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.

He has acted for clients across a variety of industries, including life sciences, biotech and pharma. Notable matters include advising the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Kneat on its approximately CA$650 million acquisition by Thoma Bravo; advising Hamilton Thorne, Ltd. on its CA$388 million going-private transaction; advising Magnet Forensics Inc. on its CA$1.8 billion sale to Thoma Bravo; and representing Unitil Corporation on multiple acquisitions and debt financings.

Rocky holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business (2016), as well as a B.Sc. Pharm from the University of British Columbia (2006).
