Ashley Laurino

Ashley Laurino is an Associate in the Construction, Infrastructure and PPP and the Litigation and Dispute Resolution groups at Dentons in Vancouver. She represents and advises clients involved in the construction of infrastructure, industrial, transportation, real estate, and commercial projects. She has experience with claims involving builders liens, construction contracts, negligent design and construction, delay, acceleration and loss of productivity, differing site conditions, additional work, and unpaid fees.

She has represented clients at the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Court of Appeal. She has successfully assisted owner clients with contested applications to have builders lien claims removed from title; acted as part of the litigation team for Acciona Wastewater Solutions LP in litigation arising from the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant project; successfully defended multiple directors and stakeholders of an insolvent developer against breach of trust and fraud claims advanced by a contractor; and has acted for a confidential municipal client in litigation concerning delay and deficiencies in connection with the construction of a community centre, and for a contractor against an owner in a complex claim involving a PPP wastewater treatment plant.

She holds a JD from Thompson Rivers University (2022) and a BBA from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (2016). She is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Vancouver Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association. She has contributed to the British Columbia Builders Liens Practice Manual and regularly volunteers with Access Pro Bono.
