Bijan Bhimani

Bijan Bhimani is a Partner in Dentons' Commercial Real Estate group in Calgary, advising on all aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, commercial development, financing, and retail and office leasing.

He represents national landlords and developers of retail, office and hotel properties throughout all stages of project development, from acquisition and financing to development, leasing and disposition. He also advises on corporate commercial matters including asset and share purchase and sale transactions, franchising and corporate governance. Notable matters include advising the borrower on a CA$200 million syndicated debt facility, advising on the CA$300 million divestiture of a Saskatchewan-based heavy equipment dealer business, and advising a development manager on the CA$500 million expansion of an events facility.

Bijan holds a J.D. (with Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan (2013) and a B.A. (Honours) in Economics from Queen's University (2010).
