David Gravel

David Gravel is a Partner in the Corporate group, based in the Montréal office, practicing in the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions practice. He has extensive experience advising on M&A transactions in both Canada and internationally, providing strategic counsel on securities law matters and participating in major financing transactions for Canadian issuers, with significant experience in the mining industry.

Mr. Gravel has advised on numerous significant transactions, including advising the founding shareholders of Enovum Data Centers on its sale to Bit Digital for CA$62.8 million, advising Cascades Inc. on its US$400 million senior notes private placement, advising Aya Gold & Silver Inc. on multiple underwritten bought deal public offerings totaling over CA$239 million, advising Peak Fintech Group Inc. on its CA$105 million acquisition of Cubeler Inc., and advising BlackRock Metals Inc. on its CA$140 million reverse takeover transaction with Strategic Resources Inc.

He holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa (2014), an LLB from UQÀM (2013), and a DESS in business law from the Université de Montréal (2018). He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada in Mergers and Acquisitions Law and as Ones to Watch in Securities Law.
