Kosta Kostic

Kosta Kostic is a Partner in the Corporate group in the Montréal office, practicing in the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance practice. With over 20 years of experience in business law, he specializes in M&A, private equity, corporate finance, and securities law, regularly advising issuers and securities dealers on private and public debt and equity offerings.

Mr. Kostic has acted as lead counsel on many public and private M&A, corporate reorganization, and restructuring transactions, and has represented companies in a variety of industries on IPOs, follow-on offerings, and listings on the TSX, TSX Venture Exchange, and CSE. He has also advised on takeover bids, going-private transactions, reverse takeovers, and shareholder proxy fights. He advises publicly traded companies on complex corporate and securities matters, including disclosure compliance, proxy solicitation, equity-based incentive plans, and interactions with stock exchanges and regulators.

Kosta holds a BCL and LLB from McGill University (2001), an Osgoode Certificate in Mining Law from York University (2013), and a degree in Communication Studies from Concordia University (1996). He serves on the Local Advisory Committee for the TSX Venture Exchange and has been a director or corporate secretary of several publicly listed and private companies.
