Ioana Jurca

Ioana Jurca is a Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group in Dentons' Montréal office, specialising in Dispute Resolution. With more than 10 years of experience handling complex domestic and international litigation and arbitration matters, she has a broad practice encompassing civil and commercial litigation, class actions, commercial arbitration, professional liability and insurance litigation.

Ioana has represented clients in significant matters, including Air India in the recognition and enforcement of a US$100 million arbitration award under a bilateral investment treaty, a victim of major fraud involving cryptocurrency in Anton Piller and Mareva proceedings, and AECOM Consultants Inc. in a CA$70 million lawsuit related to a major infrastructure project in Montréal. She regularly appears before the Québec courts of first instance, the Court of Appeal of Québec, and various professional organisations and administrative tribunals. Before joining Dentons, she practiced at a litigation and arbitration boutique law firm, a leading international law firm, and in the public sector.

Ioana holds an LL.B. from the Université de Montréal (2011) and is a member of the Québec Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
